Barbara fears her husband is MIA and Mike teaches her to trust God and to pray. The finale includes the Orchestra playing the Hallelujah Chorus. This movie is filled with wonderful music played by Jose Iturbi and the orchestra, laughter by Jimmy Durante and wonderful acting by June Allyson and the child star Margaret O'Brien.
The role of Barbara, in Music for Millions, was literally a tonic for me. - June Allyson
